Challenges in Foot Bone 2D Landmark Registration: Seeking Guidance on Optimal Methods

I am currently attempting to build a model using 2D labeled data of foot bones.
Due to the large sample size, manually assigning landmarks was not feasible.
I have worked with multi-domain data and tested various parameters, but I have not succeeded in properly registering the data.
As part of my efforts, I converted the existing landmarks to VTP format and resampled them to 200 points.
Are there any recommended methods I could try?

Is your starting data only points, or do you have a contour?

Are you hoping to use ShapeWorks to analyze and existing point set, or do you need it to automatically place landmarks on shapes?

Thank you for your response. The existing labeling file consists of polylines with unordered points. Depending on the large amount of data, I need to automatically position all landmarks.

You should be able to provide these as contours to ShapeWorks. As an example:

I would suggest starting with one shape per subject. A spreadsheet like:

contour_one
shape1.vtp
shape2.vtp
shape3.vtp

However if you have multiple contours in each vtp file, you will need to separate them first.
