Accounting for differences in size/scale across anatomies

Hi,

I am wondering whether the shape modes shapeworks produces are independent of anatomical scale/size so that only the variation in shape is taken into account? If this is not the case can you suggest how to go about this?

Hi David,

One of the best ways to remove scale from the shape model is to enable “procrustes scaling” in the optimization. This will iteratively remove global scale (x,y,z) from the shape model.
