Hi,
I am trying to create a lumbar vertebrae model on ShapeWorks, I only started using ShapeWorks this week so I wanted some guidance regarding my task. I have 50 segmentations per L1-L5 vertebrae (so 250 segmentations in total), initially I thought it would be easier to create 5 models for each L1-L5 vertebrae and then later concatenate this into one lumbar vertebrae model. Since I had the segmentations, creating a model each for L1-L5 was pretty straightforward on the studio. However when I tried to combine them, this is where I ran into an issue, I can’t seem to figure out how to go about this task. Should I create an excel sheet as given in the ShapeWorks Studio Multiple Domain SSM documentation or is there another way of going about this task. I would appreciate all the help. Thanks.
You can either run them individually and concatenate for analysis, or you can run it as a joint model.
Each column in the data tab of the ShapeWorks Project spreadsheet can be suffixed with the domain name (in your case _l1
, _l2
, _l3
, etc)
Example here:
If you run them separately and used named suffixes, you should be able to concatenate most of the columns directly.
Hey, Thanks for your reply. I used the documentation to build the model, however after optimization this is what it looks like. I am using 50 subjects and the optimization was done at 512 particles each and 2000 iterations. How could I improve the model?
