Using shapeworks for pelvis models and having ifficulty with the optimization and/or mesh reconstruction. FOllowing optimization, the particles seem to be well distributed across the model. However, following

I think the main issue here is that with an initial relative weighting of 0.0001, the particles favor spreading out so much instead of staying in formation that they lose all correspondence during the initialization phase. I would keep it at 0.05 and if you need the particles to spread further, use more iterations per split and/or enable Sampling Scale option.
