Hi there. I am trying to use both normals and geodesics for a pelvis statistical shape model. The problem is that anytime I select the geodesic function and run the optimization, I get the following error
Error: checkFinite() failure: Non-finite matrix entry [62164,62164] = -nan(ind)
Without the geodesics, the pelvis models has large grooves (please see the attached images) despite there not being any holes in the STL files and grooming process
I also checked the models in Meshmixer for any errors (such as non-manifold edges) and none came up.
Does anyone know how to correct this error so I can run geodesics?
