Creating a model of vessels

Hello,

I am trying to create a model of vessels that have quite a bit of turtoisity.
You can see a sample from this picture.

I have done a parameter sweep over several parameter ranges, including: Geodisic distance, Normals, Procrustes [scaling, rotation/translation].
Could you provide me with guidance for the preprocessing of the data and/or what parameter ranges I should explore?

I understand that I am stretching the remit of this tool, but it would be really helpful if it were possible to arrive at an initial solution, even if not perfect.
Finally, if necessary, I can share my dataset through email.

This is going to be a tough dataset.

Something I would probably try is to set a few key landmarks and use the geodesic distance from landmarks as a correspondence feature.

Is there a chance you could share some samples with me? amorris@sci.utah.edu
