# Iterative Closest Point Alignment with Multiple Domains

Hello,

Trying to align shapes by “Iterative Closest Point” in a multiple domain dataset in in the Shapeworks Studio 6.5.0 GUI Groom tab consistently causes the program to crash.

I experience this crashing with every dataset that I have tried including the ellipsoid\_md\_example set provided with ShapeWorks.

Has anyone else run into this?

Can you try the latest development release?

We have fixed some alignment issues, in particular with multiple domains.
